Urban buildings configuration and pollutant dispersion of PM 2.5 particulate to enhance air quality

چکیده
A pivotal element for metropolitan planning and an essential component describing the urban design is block typology, affecting pollution concentration. Consequently, this research examines influence of various typologies on pollutant distribution. Four are simulated by ENVI-MET software. These cubic-shaped, L-shaped, C-shaped, linear-shaped models. Urban air quality was assessed using relative humidity, temperature, PM2.5 The performance in terms reduction permeability strongly dependent blocks' orientation, shape's rotation concerning horizontal vertical extensions, height blocks, type typology. According to these parameters, different each studied typologies. Regression models propose a more reliable prediction when independent variables buildings, among Hence, article suggests machine learning approach, model evaluation shows that Polynomial Linear (PLR) excellent measuring temperature.

Urban Pollutant Transport and Infiltration into Buildings Using Perfluorocarbon Tracers
People spend the majority of their time indoors and therefore the quality of indoor air is worthy of investigation; indoor air quality is affected by indoor sources of pollutants and from pollutants entering buildings from outdoors. In this study, unique perfluorocarbon tracers were released in five experiments at a 100 m and ~2 km distance from a large university building in Manchester, UK and...
متن کاملconstruction and validation of translation metacognitive strategy questionnaire and its application to translation quality
like any other learning activity, translation is a problem solving activity which involves executing parallel cognitive processes. the ability to think about these higher processes, plan, organize, monitor and evaluate the most influential executive cognitive processes is what flavell (1975) called “metacognition” which encompasses raising awareness of mental processes as well as using effectiv...
The Impact of Traffic-related Pollutant on Indoor Air Quality in Buildings near Main Roads
Traffic–related pollutant has been recognized as an air pollution hot spot due to its large emission rate and great health impacts for the exposed population. In the present investigation, a computational fluid dynamics technique is used to evaluate the effect of traffic pollutions on indoor air quality of a naturally ventilated building. The transport of street-level nonreactive pollutants emi...
متن کاملPredicting Indoor Pollutant Concentrations, and Applications to Air Quality Management
Because most people spend more than 90% of their time indoors, predicting exposure to airborne pollutants requires models that incorporate the effect of buildings. Buildings affect the exposure of their occupants in a number of ways, both by design (for example, filters in ventilation systems remove particles) and incidentally (for example, sorption on walls can reduce peak concentrations, but ...
